Welcome to the Quinta da Horta, Naturist (Clothing Optional) Resort, Ferragudo, Portugal

Ted and Hun (the Buns) would like to extend a very warm welcome to you as you arrive at the gate to the wonderful world of the Quinta da Horta. We came for a visit and liked what we found so much we decided to take over the running of this delightful idyll.

Living at the Quinta da Horta is probably a very different kind of holiday for most people. We must stress this is not a luxury resort hotel, just a small, traditional Portuguese farmstead where we entertain a limited number of guests. If you are looking for luxury and sophistication, we're perhaps not for you. But if you value natural pleasures, pretty gardens, comfort and simplicity, we're sure you'll enjoy relaxing in our small paradise.

We believe that the essence of the Quinta is the feeling of a shared community that develops after a very short time with us. Whether you come as a couple, group of friends, a family or on your own, we're sure you'll soon experience the feeling that you're relaxing with a group of friends in the sun. Although around and about at the Quinta clothing is a purely optional accessory, the emphasis is on the word optional, there's never any pressure on guests who simply feel more comfortable wearing clothes.

The option to travel with fewer clothes inspired us to think about what else you could leave out of your suitcase and we think we can now offer a complete holiday experience to guests who travel with just hand luggage. Which not only benefits you financially, but eases the stress of passing through the airport and reduces your holidays carbon footprint.

Less than a year ago we walked through the gate of the Quinta da Horta and went "Wow!" fell in love with the place and took it on. We have worked hard to restore it to it's former glory as the place to be naked in the sun. We are getting there and would love to share what we have here with you even if only for a few days.
