While we were on Fuetventura we also visited the glorious Sotavento
Beach. This Beach is on the sheltered South West coast ...
Sotavento meaning "quiet wind".... and is several kilometres
long.
We first stopped near Girrondes near the middle of the beach
but couldn't stop long. Later we visited the southern end near Risco del Paso....
and had a good afternoon sunning in the dunes that back this huge sandy
beach.
 When
Charles & Judy visited they sent us these
pictures of the beach in 2006, thanks! They were up by the
Girrondes hotels where we first stopped.
