La Grande Cosse is a naturist campsite on the French Mediterranean coast, at the mouth of the River Aude, between Montpelier and Perpignan.

We travelled with Parasol Holidays for 2008 and again in May /June 2010 as we did first time in 2007 and stayed in one of their perfectly equipped mobile homes. The joy of using this particular company was the owners care and attention to their guest. They had organised a nice range of activities that we were allowed to not partake of or join in with without recrimination. In 2008 we took the trip up the Canal du Midi, transfer to the hired boat, a cruise up hill, lunch,   benefits of Tim's local knowledge and a really nice day for a very reasonable fee of about 50 euro each. The boat would have cost over 200€  alone.... so great value too!

 The resort it's self is ..... nude, access to the beach across the salt flats .... nude (hire one of Tim's bikes ..you know it makes sense!, the beach .... nude, the beach bar.... nude, the pools ... well you get the picture

The site supports a well stocked shop, pool area, a site bar and restaurant (nice food from a daily choice of 2 dishes .. 16 euro) all nudist (We think, we dressed for the restaurant September nights get chilly)

We found nice places to eat, the local "vin rose" was great and cheap ... and the beach was sandy, clean and long enough to walk...
