Myrtos Beach

30/10/10

On the west coast of Kephalonia, this beach is one of Greece's great natural treasures. The approach down a cliff face is awe inspiring. The view during the descent is stunning and the sun sets are among the best in the world.

Not over looked, the nudist area is at the near end

A mostly pebble beach, mainly for textiles. It is well equipped; snack bar, showers, toilets and good car parking.

Looking towards the Nude north

The northern end of the beach is used for nude sun bathing, and was generally free from "the lurkers". The sea can be very rough, with waves dropping from a considerable height onto the unstable pebbles, Honey Bun had a scary moment getting ashore here.

What a perfect picture
