Hi Mr Bun,
In Italy there are several
places where it is possible to stay nude and two places
where naturism is officially permitted by the law.
The two places were it is
permitted are the beaches "Oasi naturista di Capocotta" near
Rome and "Lido di Dante" near Ravenna. However all the sites
are not strictly naturist, but just clothing optional.
Oasi Naturista di Capocotta:
It is a small piece (about
100-150 meters) of the long beach between the villages of
Ostia and Torvaiannica. Here the number of naturist are
about 50%. Unfortunatly the big city is to close and there
are a lot of textiles. The place is nice with mediterranes
dunes behind and restaurants on the beach (too much, too big
and illicit...).
I do not like it very much,
principally because there are too much textile around...
Lido di Dante
I'm never been there, but it
seems to be a long beach with dunes behind. There is also a
camping with a naturist zone.
The other places where the
naturism is well tollerated are:
San Vincenzo
This is the beach that I prefer.
Altough it is 250Km from Rome (where I live) we go oten ther
for the week end. It is a piece of a long beach were the
naturist are 99%. There are just few textiles with their
naturist friends. Behind the beach there is a very nice wood
and all the sunday it is present the local naturist
association.
Torrent Diaterna
It is in the middle of the
Appenin. It is a very nice place where more or less all the
person are naturist.
Besides, there are a lot of
other tollerated places that I never visited and several
places where it is possible to stay nude if you are alone.
Besides on the north of Italy
there are also several spa where the nudity is mandatory.
Really these places are not naturist, but just the correct
way to have the sauna and hamman. If you are interested, I
could tell you also about these places.
I will collect more detailed
informations about how to reach them and I will come back to
you asap...
Sorry for my English...Do not
esitate to ask me if something is not clear.
Bye/
Carlo
