After an appalling Summer we have been rewarded with a short spell of
fantastic weather here in the South. Thus it was that I took the
opportunity to go the Studland Beach in Dorset at the end of September.
Large number had a similar idea and the naturist beach was throbbing.
The textile areas either side, by comparison, were deserted. Well here
we are - a long golden beach backed by dunes and a gentle blue sea. Some
brave souls were venturing in the briny. In the Summer there is a van
selling snacks and drinks, but not this time of year.
Which ever way you choose to approach the beach there is at least an
800m walk. Parking fills up quickly or you can use the bus like I did.
Well worth the visits.
