While La Tejita is also a nude beach & everyone seemed quite relaxed about nudist strolling along the full length of the beach you may feel more comfortable being screened from the main beach (and sometimes the wind too) behind the rocks that separate the two beaches.

Like Tejita this beach is under threat from a proposed deep water port (Granadilla - this will be for tankers and containers not yachts) the authorities want to build in the bay. The EC is currently undertaking an Environmental Impact Assessment but the Government appears to think this will give the go ahead and announced money for the project (October 2006) along with the expansion of the nearby airport. Local campaigners against the port will need all the help they can get to protect this area from development.
